School of Visual Arts (SVA)

SVA.edu 4.0 is a website redesign for the School of Visual Arts, an art and design college located in NYC. I worked with SVA’s in-house design team to create a striking and intuitive site for students and teachers to navigate. UX, typography, iconography and user flows, were just some of the elements used to produce a fluid user experience. Design consistency across the site was key, and involved using a complex shared Sketch library of components in multiple breakpoints. Every page design was constructed across four different breakpoints: 4K, desktop, tablet and mobile.

It was important that the design of the site be accessible to all users. This meant ensuring the color palette and font sizes met contrast requirements for visually impaired users.

SVA.edu was a 2023 Webby People's Voice Winner for best school/university website. Read more about this project in PRINT Magazine.
